Donkey Sanctuary
The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon, is one of the most beloved attractions in the area — a free, family- and dog-friendly sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and caring for donkeys from around the world. It’s just a short drive (about 10 minutes) from Sidmouth Beach, set in beautiful countryside on the Jurassic Coast.

Beer Beach
Beer Beach is a quintessential Devon gem — a small, working fishing beach nestled beneath white chalk cliffs on the Jurassic Coast, just east of Branscombe. It’s part of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and offers a perfect mix of dramatic coastal scenery, relaxed seaside charm, and real local character.
